Kosher Hot Dogs

The main difference between kosher and unkosher hot dogs is that kosher hot dogs do not contain pork.

Kosher hot dogs also are made from Kosher beef (or sometimes poultry) that have had a kosher slaughtering according to Jewish law.

Unlike livestock in non-Kosher plants, Jewish law requires that livestock not be “stunned” prior to slaughter.

Meat derived from these animals is then Koshered by first salting and then thoroughly rinsing to remove impurities. During processing, the meat is trimmed of certain fats, all veins and arteries.

Like all our other hot dogs, our Kosher dogs contain high quality cuts of meat and spices.

We combine the above kosher sausages with meat/pork- and dairy free toppings such as:

  • Slow cooked Sauerkraut
  • Pickled gherkins
  • Crispy shallots
  • Freshly chopped onions
  • Tomato wedges
  • Green pickled serrano peppers
  • Celery salt
  • Vegan Aioli and vegan (chilly-)mayonnaise
  • And many more toppings
  • Plus a variety of sauces & relishes
